Oh, very simple - plug the firewire cable to your powerbook firewire
port, plug the other firewire cable to your mac and your mac should
see your powerbook as a firewire HD.

Sherman, you're a saint for wanting to help, but you've got to give COMPLETE information.


Step by step, it goes like this:

(requires two Macs with built-in Firewire ports)

1. Attack Firewire cable from one Mac to the other.
2. Reboot one of the Macs, holding down the "T" key.
3. After a while, that Mac will display a screen with a large yellow Firewire symbol, and the other Mac will mount the first Mac's hard drive.
4. Now just copy whatever you need from the one to the other.
