I gather that people placing orders now are getting an estimated ship date three or four weeks away: waiting a few days won't make a difference. It'll take a while longer for any hardware defects to start showing, and of course they'll be covered by warranty.
So I'd say, if you don't want to wait several months, go ahead and order now.
