Reinstalling Classic on a Panther machine

I erased my disk and reinstalled 10.3 on my flat panel 17" iMac.  Now I 
have no classic.  I don't have a OS 9 disk from this computer, but I do 
have older disks from my iMac SE DV 12 gb.  Can I install OS 9 from 
there and how would I do it, short of creating .dmg files and going 
allllll the way back to the beginning with an erased disk?
