Charles - Do you have a movie DVD that you could try
this on for me?  I am definitely getting the data
copied over - it is just that the playback from the
hard drive version is choppy (like one frame per
second) and sometimes loses the video portion
altogether.  

The machine plays and burns DVD's just fine, but I
wonder if a stronger CPU is needed for playback from a
hard disk copy.  Or is it the copy protection?

If you or someone could take a moment to try it, then
I  would be eternally grateful.
