Chas,

What do you think about Apple's new policy of NOT including system disks with new computers? I just bought a new Powerbook, but it only came with "Restore" CDs. I feel that for $2000, I should get the System on a CD.

Well, I am not Chas and I don't have OSX yet, but I don't like the idea! I had the same problem with a Windows computer and every time I had a problem I had to lose EVERYTHING and go WAY back to old versions of browsers and drivers. :o(

What can be done? Can OSX users make their own boot system or if you crash you have to lose it all? I realize there can be back ups, but still...
