That should be fine. Your iMac should be able to
accept any IDE Hard drive such as that one, up to a
size of 120Gb. Any more than that and some internal
cable somewhere won't recognise it. However, a
firewire hard drive can get around this limitation,
meaning you can plug in 300Gb external firewire drives
and so on, but yeah, that 60Gb drive should work just
