I wouldn't worry about the MHz requirements. I think
it actually states a 500MHz G3 minimum, and I've been
using it on an iBook 466 (which steps down to 366MHz
when I kick in the energy conservation measure), and
it runs fine. I'm pretty sure I've also used it on my
Bondi Blue 233MHz iMac and it worked fine there too.
No sync problems with audio and video or anything. I
don't know how much RAM is a factor. I've got 256Mb in
the Bondi and probably allocated about 25Mb to
Quicktime.
Give it a go, you should be fine.
