I don't have an answer to the analog board question, but am wondering if
there is a separate board for sound output? My 400MHz DV SE, slot
loader, has no sound output at all...nothing from built in speakers,
external speakers, or thru headphones. Is there a common sound element
here?

Hi,

I can't seem to get a definitive answer on this. Are the analog boards
interchangeable for the 233, 266 and 333mhz iMacs? I have read that they
are and they are not. I have a 233 with a dead analog board and have not
dismantled it yet. I am still using it hooked up with an external
monitor but it is getting old. I am not interested in doing the headless
iMac hack at this time.

Please help and thanks.
