Ok, iMac booted, and after I let it sit for about 1 minute, I get a small blue icon that looks like a folder alternately flashing a question mark and a MacOS symbol. As far as I know, that means it can't find a bootable disk (HD may be shot) so I inserted a MacOS cd and rebooted.
Same thing. I also tried holding down the C key, same thing.
