Use Remote Desktop or a similar product (Timbuktu or VNC or whatever). You refer to your current as a G3 233 Slotload. I didn't realize there was such a beast, so I can't give you a tip on how to hook up a KVM. Assuming you meant a 233 Tray Load iMac, then you could disconnect the interal RGB cable, run an extension out to a USB KVM. That would let you use the same keyboard, mouse, and the internal CRT on the iMac with the Mac Mini. Downside, you would have to have the iMac booted to supply power to the CRT, so you couldn't opt to just turn on the Mac Mini (word of caution... I have NO idea what the difference in ground source between the power on the CRT and the video feed going to it may do if you choose to do this... you do it at your own risk, and although I tend to think it would work fine, if it blows up the iMac or the Mac Mini, that is your problem, not mine) If this is some kind of desktop or tower Mac, and not an iMac that you refer to... then a USB KVM is perfect for you. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> -- The iMac List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
