Hi, since some time now i have been getting unasked porn e-mail, i have not given it importance, just deleted and that's that, but since i asked for a removal from their e-mail list, it has been like i have asked to receive more and more, i have been saved several times when the hole family is gather around the TV and im on the mac and i open a innocent looking e-mail, and its this garbage, i have a graphite imac 600mhz. running 10.3.8, what can i do to filter this stuff????

You don't say which email application you use, so I'll assume it's the default, Mail. If you mark these messages as junk, rather than just deleting them, it will "learn" over time and most of these offensive mails will go straight to the Junk box. Make sure Junk mail filtering is enabled in Mail preferences.

Personally, I regard every message with an attachment as spam, unless it comes from someone I know, and junk it unread.

Question for the group: I can't see a way of setting a Mail rule that filters messages according to whether they have attachments - am I missing something obvious?

Miche.
