Hi,

I have set up a few 128 bit WEP's with different Macs and different routers, so that is hardly correct. But always go for WPA if you have the chance. Much more secure...

I have a similar setup. As far as I understand, Macs can only use 64 bit WEP, not 128. This is from the website setup page for my Belkin wireless 80211g. You have to set up your WEP security code on the setup site. Your brand may have a different arrangement. Check out the router brands website for more info.
