Hi,

I've been using 10.3 on my G4 for a while. I want to install 10.3 on my daughters G3/233 Rev. B iMac with a 4 gig drive. Can it be bone? Do I have to install OS 9 as well or does 10.3 contain the classic mode independent of an OS 9 OS somewhere on the disk. Any info or advice is welcomed.

Only if you replace the hard drive with a much larger one, then partition it so that the FIRST partition is just under 8 GB, and install the OS on that first partition. Then expect very slow performance.

Your best bet is to get one of the new Mac minis for $499
