Hi, I have a disc with Photoshop LE 5, it is perfect for what he wants to do and works well with 9.2.2. It is a 'lite' version of Photoshop, easy to use and gives great results. Happy to send it to you for your friend; just cover postage for me.
It will not work with OS X except in classic and although I now have Phtoshop Elements, I really miss using this app. as it is very simple and straightforward.
