Not a "user agreement".

"user interface guidelines". It's a design document provided to software developers, that says, essentially, "all Mac software should work this way . . ." This "standardization" is what made/makes all Mac software behave the same general way, from the user's point of view. The consistant user interface is part of what makes the Macintosh so much better than Windoze.

They just "guidelines tho -- Apple has never procluded the use of such things as multibutton mice. They're available from 3rd parties and work quite well.
