Hi Listers,

My iMac DV 400mhz (loaded with OS9 and Panther, but using 9 daily) is now
having problems. When I turn it on using the front panel power button it
boots but no video. I can hear the drive and fans etc. To get video I have
to hold in the power button until it turns off and than hit it again and
than it boots "with" video.

Since I knew my clock battery was dead I thought the video problem was from
that. But today I put in a new battery (yes I tested it first) and on the
first boot I didn't get video agian. I had to hold down the button and
restart to get video.

Back in late 2000 the P.A.V. board was changed under Applecare. Could it be
this again or some other issue?

Thanks,

MaxTek
