Hey Cap'n I have a Grape iMac-333 (256MB/20GB) running 10.3.9, using OfficeX and I'm quite happy with the setup. I've tried some other office suites that aren't too bad, but M$ Office is actually a decent product. I also run OfficeX on my G3-500 iBook.
