Hello,

My iMac G5 has started to make nasty little noises. This Mac makes me very nervous since I bought it in May 2005. The processor seems to have many ups and downs. For some reason it revs up then goes down. I can see it by watching the percentage of use with Cee Pee You or MiniCpuUsage widget. Also in the economy pref pane, what's a good setting: Maximum or Automatic? Also, I hear some faint "disk scratching" noise at times. It doesn't happen all the time but it did not happen at all before. Before, being, if I can be right, an 512 to 768 RAM upgrade. In a nutshell, let's say that I won't keep this first gen iMac for a long time...

Thanks for your help, I need it
