Ignore the Comcast software. It's garbage. All that CD does is set your TCP/IP control panel to use DHCP then give you a Comcast-branded version of Exploder.

Oh yea...

Comcast's web site - where you have to do all the admin type stuff, like setting up email addresses and such. It's nasty - badly written, etc.

So enter the site using this url:

  http://www.comcast.net/lite/

instead of just http://www.comcast.net/

Then you'll at least be able to set up emails and such.
