Ok, I'm getting random and not-so-random crashes...

sometimes when my wife prints from the iBook upstairs to the iMac DV, she crashes...

more disturbingly, I sometimes walk in and the screen is black (no signal to the monitor)...

I run Tiger from an attached hardrive.
