The Apple iSight camera will not work with your iMac. It requires a firewire port, which your mac does not have. You may also find that your mac doesn't have enough horsepower to perform video chats (I know that iChat AV specifies 600MHz G4 as the minimum - although this point is moot since there's no firewire on your machine). :o( Perhaps another company's solution will work with your Mac?
