Chuck D., It sounds as though I may have offended you and that was NOT
my intent.  Please accept my apologies.  I'm sure you know much more
about these matters than I do and I sincerely appreciate all of your
efforts to assist me with this problem.

I just attached the USB drive back to Bondi machine to see what got
backed up.  The System Folder looks like it may have been 'blessed'.
It has the "two faces" icon on it.  I've recopied the Bondi hard drive
to the Bondi partition on the USB drive.  I'm going to try booting the
Graphite again.

I made an error in the version numbers above.  The actual Bondi
machine is running 9.2.2, but when I copy everything to the backup
partition on the USB drive, that copy shows 9.1.2 (not 9.2.1).  I
don't know why this is.  Does anyone?
