I just connected the USB drive, with the new copy of 9.2.2 to the
Graphite and see the same problem. Option+Power On still only shows
the OS 9 from the internal drive and nothing else. Why doesn't it
show the OS X that's also on the drive. Nothing from the USB drive
shows up either. I'm starting to think that I'm totally hosed. It
looks like I may have open the Graphite and remove the internal drive
to connect via USB to another iMac. I don't know what this will do
for me, but it might be my only option at this point. If getting an
upgrade disk from 'I love Macs' will solve the problem, I'm certainly
interested in exploring that possibility. Ultimately, I guess I need
to acquire an OS X install CD. I'm just trying to get up and running
right now. Is it possible to do a NetBoot at this point? I don't
even know what the requirements are. I have a PowerBook G4 running OS
X as well. I'll have to dust it off, but if I could get NetBoot to
work just to get my Graphite running, that would be great.
