I some years ago, suggested the idea to HP of making it optional to be
able to shut the lid on a laptop and keep it running  so a person
could plug the computer into his/her car stereo and play music or run
defrag/scandisk  \while having it put away in your car while you
drive.  They seemed to have listened.   Maybe this should be suggested
to Apple.
