It's a 500 Mhz G-3 Apple blue complete unit with crt. It runs flawlessly, has OS9 on it, and OSX which runs mainly now Both ran when I got it, but my son turned the OS9 off, seemed to make it faster. I have ordered a battery for it, not in yet, so the time is lost on reboot and other times as well as other things I guess. It was a Mesquite Texas school computer, and the password did not work so I had to get change al lthat. Found it on the internet. I still can not change the settings...I don't know why. I can change anything I need I believe. When I got it, I had all kinds of programs, but I seem to have lost many by my actions learning ot use it. Also sitting up at night, I fell asleep at times, and somehow put 00000's and ////'s in the description fields of my applications, and lost them... something to this waking day, I still don't know how to do. I need to see if I can clip out the makeup of the unit and place it here...I did replace the one button mouse with a modern optical one.
I just love it, and it performs as well as my high speed bigger unit... we have done the disk check on the HD, and it says it can't fix it. I have a 40 meg HD, we pulled out of my Dell with W on it...? Also I'm running an external Omega 80 gig drive, I've kept all my files on for a long time. It reads it well, I lost my Acrobat Reader.. but it still works.
