We have a G4 1GHZ iMac running 10.5.6 with 1 gig ram. Recently I went
to burn a disc and iTunes would not burn any blank disk. Today I
tried playing a few music cd's and iMac won't read them either.
However, it still list the super drive in about this Mac. I tried
resetting pram and booting 10.5 boot DVD to repair permissions. reset
of pram was smooth. The iMac won't boot into or recognize the 10.5
disc.
I did try booting into saf mode. Then It took the disk and spun it
around a few times, then spit it out each time.
Is here an easy dix for this. I'm not much into taking the iMac apart
& putting it back togethere.

Thanks in advance,

Patrick Berg
