How do I break that > dependency? Thanks. In System Preferences, the Classic preference, in the Start/Stop pane, do you see a message "Classic is not running"? You can stop Classic there. If it will not stop, look for any OS 9 applications that may be running. Make sure TextEdit, TeachText, or whatever, is not running. You may have to force quit an application.
