I know iMAC G3 models 233/266/333 MHz can't boot from USB but can I
make
a boot CD with OS 9.1, 9.2.2 or 10.X that would have utilities (HDD
repair, computer info, backup & restore programs to restore an image
from a USB
drive, etc)

How would I make a Booting CD with MAC OS and programs I can run from
either this CD or a USB drive that has a back up image, etc?

The Tray Loading iMAC's only has USB (that you can't boot from) and
NO Firewire.

What is the MAX. USB drive size with MAC OS 9.1 and MAC OS 10.3?

Will any USB jump drive or HDD work with the original G3 iMAC models?

I'm just learning how to use Apple computers but in the PC world they
use
a self booting CD called a "Ultimate Boot CD" that includes software
tools
for Tests, System Information, Hard Disk Installation Tools, Hard
Disk
Cloning Tools, Anti-Virus/Malware Tools, Network Tools, Boot
Managers,
etc.

If a user has problems with his/her computer, he/she can boot from a
CD and
test/repair/restore from a user backup without reinstalling the OS
from a
new fresh install, etc. This is great if you don't have the original
CD's, you can
Back up your OS and software so if you have a problem and the computer
can't boot from the HDD, you can boot from a special CD and restore
back
to your original snapshot.

Would MAC users have something like that for the Original G3 iMAC?
