I have an iMac and a Mac Mini and am wondering if anyone has used a
Hitachi 7K1000.B Hard Drive - 1TB, as an external drive for backups
and storage. If you have one have you had any problems with this
drive? I know that the Seagate 1TB drives have had some firmware
problems but haven't heard anything about the Hitachi drives. I'm
want to put it in a SATA enclosure and am using OSX 10.5.6 with Time
Machine to do my backups.
