Thanks, Thats what I planned on doing if it was the monitor, just
wasn't sure which it was.
I posted that I thought I might have found the answer, but being that
my posts are moderated since I am once again a "new" member, That
update post seems to have been lost.

Sounds like the FlyBack on the monitor is gone.

I'll take the Guts and make a G3 Mac Mini since I have extra
monitors around.
