This is Mac OS 9.2.2 directly from Apple. Even if you have OS 9 CD's,  
this should be better, as you don't have to worry about updating, etc.  
Once downloaded, use the tool Pacifist (http://charlessoft.com/Pacifist.dmg 
) to extract the .pkg files downloaded. You'll see the system folder  
ready to extract. Once done, put it at the root of your HD and use the  
Classic System Preferences pane to locate it. It should work fine.
