I talked to verizon and they found an error in my information. When they had me correct that, I was able to return to the internet. Next, I couldn't make my printer respond to my computer. It would not print. After disconnecting and reconnecting, uninstalling and reinstalling, I was able to get back to printing. Finally, my computer started operating very slowly. I tried to repair permissions with the disk utility and afte a long time (hours) I got a lot of words on my screen with the first one being "Failure". I tried to repair permissions through Onyx and after a long time, I got another failure message. I tried booting in safe mode, then rebooting again. Then, I tried to repair permissions again through Onyx. After another long time, it was successful and the computer is running faster. I also cleared caches. What a time I have had. If there are any tidbits you might suggest to speed up my computer I would appreciate them. Thanks for reading.
