It might be in a different location... I'm sure there's been wake/ 
sleep schedule options since OS9 at least... And, like Bruce said, the  
only difference between the iMac disk, and the normal installer disk,  
is probably the inclusion of iLife. Besides, the original iMac install  
disks for your iMac was probably a System 8.6 disk. I don't think that  
would help restore functions in 10.2.8.
