Just got a 2005 eMac! (Nice machine) :-)
Currently have a USB 2.0 eMac with the 2005's Tiger install on it.
The only thing that I could not get to work right on the USB eMac w/
the 2005's Tiger install was the fast user switching, which is not
much of a problem as my wife uses it mainly, only I keep an account on
it to administer it and maintain it.

The USB eMac has a 3 partitions on it: 1 mainly empty, 2nd w/10.3.9 on
it - (and I need to do some data salvaging from it), and the 3rd with
Tiger (Main boot volume)

Anyway, where do I begin this tedious job? I own a data backup
license, but I read Alsoft is better for cloning. I also have a 500 GB
WD drive I can use to install or migrate the OS for the 2005 the USB
has a 500 GB in it too.

I'm perplexed as I have so, so much stuff to go through and a lot of
it I can probably delete after I review it. Most of the data is pretty
well organized into folders, yet I have not for the most part used
sub-folders to make organizing easier. I should have enough extra HDs
to migrate everything from the USB eMac. The 2005 eMac only has a 80
GB HD. So, I guess I'll take it out for the other 500 GB WD and use
the 80 GB for data saving. I hope this isn't confusing, but I'm
confused as to what to do first.

Please help me with some tips on this big job. How long could this
take?

-Mike
