Wow! I just looked at iFixit.com and it looks as complicated as a PowerBook to 
replace the harddrive!.

I think I'm just going to leave it alone (at least until it fails).
I can tackle this level of complexity but it looks like ther is plenty of 
opportunity to make things worst =( not better.

I think this leans me towards a backup onto external hard drive, clean install, 
and then copy over what she needs now.

Bring back the (affordable) tower please!
