Hi All,
Product: IMail Server 5.00
OS: Windows NT Server 4.0
I have set up a virtual server to use an ODBC Database
(Access .mdb file) and all seems to function except that
Access will not allow me to open the database as it
is locked for exclusive use buy user 'Admin'
Firstly I do not have a user 'Admin' on my system.
Secondly I wish to be able to access and modify the
contents of the database using Cold Fusion. Being locked
exclusively I cannot modify it at all. I have tried
removing the ODBC link in ODBC Manager and switching off
all the IMail services and the database is still locked
Can you suggest a way of IMail not using the database
exclusively so I can modify and add to it. What I want
to do is build further fields into the database for client
billing using the Cold Fusion interface, or have I missed
the point of DB access?
Thank you in advance
