We run our IMail Server on an external database as well and have encountered
this problem. First off....you have to start and stop the mail services to
get the database to kick in. If you added ANY fields to the IMail database
then those fields MUST not be the first fields in the table. We use the
IMail table as a backend for a free e-mail system. Users sign up right over
the web and it populates the IMail Access DB in one fell swoop. They have
immediate access and everyone is happy.
I hope this helps....

I too have the same problem - IMail creates the Access table, enters
the root user, but won't let me change anything for the root user
or add new users with the IMail Admin????
Thanks,
Ken
