One more thing... I have used "POP fido" in the past to help a NOTES
customer do this same thing, I know that these programs, that pull down a
POP box and stuff it into an SMTP box, do what they are supposed to and work
OK. The problem I would watch for is that they can hiccup on your POP box
and since that kills all inbound mail... it does. By using an SMTP queue
each message is a separate entity and the risk of large boo-boo's is reduced
significantly. Only had it happen three times, but three times losing
everybody's mail is three times as bad as never... I made them get a static
IP and use ETRN, and then everybody lived happily ever after. (:->)
