I'm not 100% sure but a couple of things in your DNS doesn't make sense to
me:
1. You should never have a mail pointing to a CNAME. I know that the root
domain (tigerlink.net) has the A record which is the same as your mail
record but I would still not set it up like that.
2. I'm not sure that (0) value in your MX record is a good choice. Maybe it
is but more knowledgeable people on this list should confirm that.
However if smtp-relay.pbi.net is your second choice for mailserver, how come
it fails a lookup? So I think your problem is with PBI. They are notorious
for changing name on you. I've had a lot of problems with that here. I would
give them a call and ask them what's up. Besides trace-routing to you gives
a lot of unreachable errors.
