Do a majority of your users do web messaging? Lots of
attachments?

Here is one other thing I just thought of after reading the
last message that flashed by me. As with anything I say
this may be a load of hoopla so...

Do you use Imonitor to monitor the Imail Web Service?
If so, do you have this set to auto-restart? If so uncheck
the auto restart.

I just tried this here locally. Anyone else that wants to try it
go for it. I turned on Imonitor to monitor the web service
and auto-restart. Logged in using Web Mail and sent a 10 MB
file. CPU usage was fine. Then Imonitor kicked in and tried to
restart the service again. CPU went through the roof.

Same theory as applied to another problem recently with SMTP
and POP3 service I think. Imonitor queries the service which is
very busy at the moment and too stressed out to respond to the
query. Imonitor assumes the service is down and tries to jump
start it.

This is only a theory and should not be taken as gospel.
