Diarmaid,
For a properly constructed message, that should NOT happen! There must have
been 8 messages (or some combination of messages and Tries) that left these 8
processes (one could have one message, and IMail seto to 20 tries and that
would cause 20 instances of the incorrectly terminated proceses!). If you have
cleared the queue and all the messages were sent, then you should not see the
problem. Kill the smtp32 processes and you should be in good shape.
Unfortunatlely you have still not found the 'cause' and it could happen again.
If it does, follow the method I outlined and if you can locate the message
causing the trouble, I'd like to see it!
