This must be an easy one and that's why I can't find an answer. Hopefully
somebody knows. I'm new to I-mail and testing things out on a new server
using v5.05.
I have an account where two domains (.org and .com) both resolve to the
same IP. The Imail account is set up as domain.com. (domain = actual
domain name) I cannot get Imail to accept mail to both domains - ie:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and [EMAIL PROTECTED] Under the system log, when
attempting to deliver mail to the account, it comes back with an error "not
local".
Under the administrator area, if I place domain.com in the aliases area,
the mail works to [EMAIL PROTECTED] If I change the alias to domain.org,
mail works to [EMAIL PROTECTED] - I can't get both to work. If I try both
in the alias area, only the last listed domain name works. I'm separating
domains in the alias area with a space and comma. In addition, I thought
the aliases area was for user ID aliases only and not domain names. Any
ideas on what I need to do different? Thoughts on this would be most
appreciated.
