Barry,

If you use the SAM you will have to manual delete ever user from your user
manager every time someone drops off of the email. I run exchange for
multiple companies and it will delete the mailbox and user at the same time,
but I truly wish that MS had used an external database instead of SAM. I
personal think that it makes for a messy database.
