Unfortunately mail that is held in the spool for store and forward
is not filtered. Only mail that is delivered to local boxes gets filtered.
Would be nice if it worked like this though. Matter of fact, here
if my dream...

Two spool directories, one pre-spool where ALL messages
are checked against rule validation. If they pass, send them
to delivery spool. If they fail send them to trash. Admin reviews
trash and if valid messages are trapped process them to the
delivery spool.

Just a dream... however this way all messages including outgoing
would be checked against the rules. I have had several instances
where I had to terminate a user only after finding out they had
pumped out a couple of thousand SPAMS from a third party.

However, you can filter incoming mail with global rules. See
http://bbs.lynndust.com/imail for one way to deal with it. Also
you can do a search for 'spam' on the knowledge base.
