I'd have to disagree with Wayne (not that you may have seen this yourself,
Wayne). I've run my server with the registry allowing 60 smtp32d, without
problem.

If you see errors with dlls that are system related, then I would re-install
your current Service Pack. This will assure that they are the 'right'
versions. I'd also search your HD for multiple copies of these dlls. And use
CHKDSK /F to check the HD to assure good sectors and good files.
