If you check www.deja.com (alt.comp.hardware.overclocking  and
alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.abit) you will see folks wih first release BIOS
problems.

Seems like the main abit www site is down (electrical problems, earthquake I
believe), newer drivers for the MB and IDE driver can be found at
http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/bp6/downloads.asp

With the prices being so low (Except RAM $), might want to try.   Some of the
ATA/66 issues were with certain HDs and the supplied IDE cable was installed
backwards.
