Sorry - no info there.  I'm just using the board for home use.  Seems pretty good, although for my tastes, I always prefer SCSI on a server.

Do you recommend that to be used in WinNT?

OK, I just finished the install.  Worked great.  The board came with one ATA33 and one ATA66 cable; I have no idea how much more 66 cables cost.  I have four devices attached, each as master on its own channel - the ATA66 HD, an ATA33, a CD-ROM, and a CD-R.  My only caveat - I installed Win98 on the ATA66.  Everything went fine, but after final reboot, I had to boot into safe mode and install the ATA66 drivers.  Then it booted fine.
BTW - I am using a PIII-450, not overclocking, but the board has SoftCPU so you don't have to play with jumpers.
So far, I'd recommend it.

cool! that is also what i have in mind.  but what processor will you test your board?  I believe that Abit-BE6 can support upto 8 IDE drives.  Are the necessary cables provided already with the board?

Or, if you prefer Slot 1 or fear overclocking, I just got an Abit-BE6.  Single processor but otherwise similar to the BP-6.  I am building a home machine on it this weekend with a Quantum 13GB 7200 RPM/ATA66 drive.  I'll let you know how it goes.

Yes, get the new ABit  BP6    it is a dual CPU MB ( socket 370, not slot 1)  Two things that make this board the "HOT" item right now

SMP support with celerons.  People are taking cheap 366Mhz Celerons and running them at 550Mhz
Regular 33Mhz IDE and the new 66Mhz IDE ports. Now you can have up to 8 IDE devices.

Hi,

I just wanna ask if anyone on list has setup their NT servers with IDE harddisks.  How do we setup more than 4 Harddisk on a computer?  I only got 2 ports for each Primary and Secondary cables.  Each has its own Master and Slave.  Is there something I should buy?
