As if spammers gave a flying f**k.  The love to be hated if that money keep rolling in.

While Ipswitch listened and responded well to anti-spam gripes of about a year ago, it sounds like a lot defense is yet to be implemented.  While I'm staying with Imail, maybe the list members could pool efforts to build a anti-spam front-end based on FreeBSD or Linux plus an open source MTA such as qmail patched for anti-spam hooks such as RBL lookups and RegEx filtering. 

I would have gone for MailShield at $1000 but hesitated and they upped it to $5000, which is probably some measure of the value of the product and what spam victims are willing to pay.
