I understand you concern, but by including the original message(s), you have
the complete story for your viewing pleasure.  Time is very limited for most
of us - requiring a person to start cutting and pasting before replying
would take uncessary time.  You would also need to search though the
individual messages to get the 'big picture'.  If it too much of a hassle or
takes too long, some folks might not participate.
