Len,
I have the same problem as Guillermo, Please in layman's terms, can you please tell me procedure how to check my reverse domain delegation.  All outgoing email get stuck to the imail spool directory. I have check the DNS in Imail Services as well as the TCPIP settings and are both the same.  However, I don't know how to check the MX and reverse domain settings.

Would appreciate your help.

Guillermo,

Check your reverse domain delegation.  If the other smtp server cannot correlate your ip address & mail server name via reverse lookup, then it will not let you connect.  This should happen consistently with a given smtp server you are sending to, not intermittently.

==============

I have this error, i am getting this

MX Connect fail continously in my syslog log.

I have changed my DNS server both the one in control panel->imail->smtp, and
the one in network properties->tcpIP->DNS,

and continue the same, i have made telnet to port 25 to that machines wich
imail reported that it failed the connection with.

and i can connect are a lot of servers, and not always fail it fails to
connect once and then it connects to it.

so it seems to be something intermitent and random.

This seems to be urgent to me becouse i am an isp and my mail server is not
sending mails.

please help me with this i will really apreciate.

best regards.
